Bio-Identical (natural) hormones have become one of the clinic's specialties along with family practice, women and men's health. The bio-identical hormones are compounded formulas of estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone for women and testosterone for men.

These bio-identical hormones are prescribed for both men and women that may have a hormone imbalance. Hormone imbalance symptoms can include fatigue, night sweats, depression, irritability and decreased libido. Bio-Identical hormone therapy can return you to a normal hormone balance and overall well-being. Prescribed bio-identical hormone therapy can be administered by cream, capsule, sublingual or pellets.

Most patients prefer the convenience of pellets, which are about the size of a grain of rice. The pellet is inserted painlessly under the skin, typically in the hip every 4 to 6 months.
